Art in Black and White

Ok, so I really do like black and white art. Maybe it's cuz all my original stuff was in black and white.  But here's a bunch from my art from all periods of my various acts of creation.

CBC Art Show

OK, so I now officially give up on Art Walks in downtown Concord. The Arts Council has decided that the concept of an Art Walk is art displayed within the Old Courthouse Gallery, and then a couple of artisans displaying some work on the lawn. I suggested to the City that they consider taking over the Art Walk and using available vacant office space in the downtown area as temporary "galleries". Looks like that won't happen, since the Arts Council apparently owns the concept of Art Walk. So, for us itinerant artists and artisans, maybe the next Art event may be the Art and Craft Festival at the Cabarrus Brewing Company. Now that isn't scheduled yet, and, who knows whether it will happen.
But, assuming it does, I may print one or more of the following creations for that show.

Next Art Walk

Ok, so maybe there will be no new art walks, since the Arts Council seems to have given up the Art Walk concept. But, I'm thinking . . . maybe someone will come along to rescue the idea and find a way to put it into practice. Hey, if they can hold a 2018 Christmas Tree showing at the old Concord Hotel, why not an Art Walk? Maybe entice 20-30 artisans, craftsmen, et al, to come and display their creations at the old hotel.  It could happen. Maybe the Mayor will talk to some folks who like art and they will do something. Art Walks are sure to be a stimulant for local businesses, restaurants, coffee houses, breweries, wine bars . . .
So, in the event that happens, I might even resurrect my artsy side. Here are a few potential creations I could bring into life.  Yeah, yeah, they're a bit abstract, but so is life today, n'est-ce pas?
