The Alexander County Library in Taylorsville, NC is hosting an art exhibit for photographic artists. They are looking for artists to examine and portray the changing seasons. In their words:
"Hopefulness? Gratitude? Openness? Whatever it is, it's
welcome.”
“A Promised Change” is open to photography submissions
that explore the changing beauty of the natural world as well as images that
explore the more expansive theme. The exhibit provides a space for
photographers to tell unique stories that resonate. We welcome your diverse
artistic interpretations inspired by the broader themes, as literal as
landscape photography, as experimental as abstracts, or as personal as
photographs that speak to you of seasonal change."
Real artists wishing to submit works should contact:

Their planned exhibition will run from November 7th through the end of December. As a local pseudo-artist, I appreciate their call for serious artistic interpretations of the seasonal nature of our world. Although I would not presume to submit work for this serious show, I exhibit below my own modest interpretations of the changing face of nature as we proceed through the seasonal shifts in color, temperature and Mother Nature's endless variations in artsy displays. So, here they are and may I wish the real artists a wonderful showing of their works.
